Black Panther

I think the king of Wakanda deserves his own poster. This print will be debuting at the Cincy ComiCon this September along with Captain Marvel and Bebop and Rocksteady.

Assembling - Black Panther

If you know me, it's no secret that I love Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. It is one of the best super hero cartoon shows and it taught me a lot about the greater Marvel universe. I also absolutely love the character designs for it. Thomas Perkins did an outstanding job combining classic costumes with modern elements and giving everything a crisp look. That show was my biggest inspiration for Black Panther's costume. It's one of the few Panther designs that does anything with the costume besides just making it totally black. The shape of the highlights on his face give a vaguely catlike appearance and bring a lot more personality to the design.

Avengers Assembled

My team of Avengers is finally assembled! This will be one of my new prints at conventions this year and you can buy it right now as a t-shirt for only $14 on my TeePublic shop!

I'll keep posting the individual characters and the design decisions that went into them, so go buy a shirt and check back for more updates.

Draw Every Day 121-130

Drawing female characters from so many teams and franchises made me think of some other characters I had never drawn. This really got me thinking about fun characters and I decided to do a little alphabet project. I started with "A is for America" and let people vote on what character I should draw next. B is for Black Widow. C is for Carnage. D is for Deathstroke. More of the alphabet coming soon. Follow me on Twitter and Instagram for daily updates @natexopher

Avengers Assemble

I told you I'd have more Avengers. I tried to include both the movie team members and the cartoon team members so fans of either could enjoy. I went pretty traditional with everyone's costume - with a little of the modern and a little of the cartoon mixed in.
