If you know me, it's no secret that I love Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. It is one of the best super hero cartoon shows and it taught me a lot about the greater Marvel universe. I also absolutely love the character designs for it.
Thomas Perkins did an outstanding job combining classic costumes with modern elements and giving everything a crisp look. That show was my biggest inspiration for Black Panther's costume. It's one of the few Panther designs that does anything with the costume besides just making it totally black. The shape of the highlights on his face give a vaguely catlike appearance and bring a lot more personality to the design.
