Favorite Spreads Summer 2016

Here's a look at some of my favorite spreads from the Summer 2016 edition of the print magazine.

Infographic: Lake Erie

Lake Erie has a history of algae trouble. This infographic shows some notable algal blooms as well as some lake facts that help explain why this Great Lake is so easily affected.

Infographic: Carbon Emissions

Taking a look at global carbon emissions, historic levels, and plans for the future.

Infographic: El Nino

This infographic takes a closer look at El Nino and La Nina. While it's difficult to predict when they will occur, we can at least take a look at their history and learn what we can.

Infographic: Rising Temperatures

Temperatures are on the rise and have been for a while. This infographic takes a closer look at record temps, hot years, cold years, and if trends look like they'll continue.

Slimer

I ain't afraid of no ghosts.

I drew this a while ago and always liked the sketch. With the new movie coming it, it seemed like the time to bring him back to life.

Civil War

I've had the idea to incorporate some character quotes into drawings for a while, but it was an idea I left on the back burner. When I rewatched all of the MCU movies for BringOnUltron, I noticed there were a lot of great quotes that really captured the essence of the characters. This spring, with Civil War coming out, I figured it was time to finally put those designs together. I went with Dr. Erskine's quote from Captain America: The First Avenger to sum up Cap -- "Not a perfect soldier, but a good man" -- and Tony Stark's description of himself from Avengers -- "Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist." There's a good chance I'll make more of these, so stay tuned!

I'll be making prints of these designs, but you can also grab them as t-shirts. Click here if you're Team Cap or here if you're Team Iron Man.
